Gasherbrum I (Hidden Peak) (8,068 meters / 26,509 feet)

Gasherbrum I, also known as Hidden Peak, proudly stands at 8,080 meters (26,509 feet) in the Karakoram Range, near K2 along the Pakistan-China border. This majestic peak holds the title of the 11th highest mountain globally, captivating climbers with its challenging ascent and breathtaking beauty. Named "Hidden Peak" due to its discreet location within the Gasherbrum massif, it offers a formidable climb marked by steep slopes and icy conditions. The first successful ascent occurred in 1958 by an American team, marking a significant achievement in high-altitude mountaineering. Gasherbrum I's remote and pristine surroundings add to its allure, attracting adventurers seeking a formidable yet rewarding climbing experience.
